It's been fun but we are just 4 days away from the end of Season 1 ranked played in the Lightseekers digital TCG app.

So what does that mean for you? Let's find out!

Over the past week, since we found out that Season 1 is coming to a close, there have been a lot of questions.

Many of these questions have been answered directly by the PlayFusion staff, but the answers may have quickly been lost in the shuffle of social media. So here's what we've discovered.

Final Days

Season 1 will officially come to a close at midnight on September 30, 2018.

To simplify things this countdown is running on UTC, so after a little time conversion it will likely be ending a few hours before midnight for most of you.

For me here in the Central Time Zone, Season 1 ends at 7PM on September 30th.

Rewards

There will be a number of digital rewards doled out at the end of the season. These rewards will be based on the highest rank you achieved during the season even if you ended up at a lower rank when it ended.

Benny outlined these rewards for us nicely in this post, but I'll break it down a little more here.

Basic Rewards

Anyone who completed their Placement Matches will qualify for some level of reward. Once again, this is based on the highest level you achieved throughout the season even if you ended at a lower level.

These basic rewards will include Booster Packs, Gems, Fragments, and Avatars.

You can view your current reward in the app. From the main menu select Achievements > Ranked. Then on the right side of the screen hold your finger on “Current Rewards”.

The following chart is not official, but based on information I've gathered I believe it to be fairly accurate.

I'm not 100% on some of the higher ranks, but the basics are there.

Card Backs

Each season there will be an exclusive card back you can earn.

To gain this reward you simply have to play in 10 ranked matches throughout the season.

Avatars

Each season you will also have the opportunity to earn one or more exclusive avatars.

Which avatar(s) you receive will once again be based on the highest league you entered. There are currently six leagues which include:

  • Bronze
  • Silver
  • Gold
  • Platinum
  • Diamond
  • Master

These avatars are cumulative. So if you end in the Gold league, you will receive the Bronze, Silver, and Gold avatars at the end of the season.

“Hidden” Achievements

Finally, there will be a few extra achievements handed out to the top cut of players.

Don't worry, these special achievements won't affect the overall Achievement Score, but they will be a very nice addition to your collection.

To start getting your digital hands on these “hidden” achievements you'll have to make it into the top 25% of players. If you manage to make it to the very top, the king of the hill at the end of the season will lay claim to their very own achievement.

Reset

When all is said and done, it's time to go back to the beginning…

Well…almost…

At the beginning of each new season you will have to play your Placement Matches again.

However, if you made it into one of the higher leagues in the previous season, you will not be starting from ground zero.

It's unclear at this point just how much of a boost you'll get from your previous ranking, but be assured that it will help you.

You only have a few days left to climb that ladder, so go out and make the most of them!
